Job Overview

As a PSW, you provide respectful, person-centred support that helps individuals maintain comfort, dignity, and independence. You assist with daily routines and adapt your approach to each person’s needs, preferences, and abilities.

Duties

- Support patient care and senior care, including personal care, mobility, and daily living activities.
- Assist with meal preparation, light cleaning, and medication administration according to established care plans and procedures.
- Provide attentive support for people living with dementia or disabilities, and those receiving hospice care.

Experience

Required:



Practical caregiving skills, clear communication, patience, and the ability to support daily care tasks, including secure heavy lifting when needed. Preferred: Experience in assisted living, nursing homes, home care, nursing, senior care, dementia care, hospice care, patient care, or working with individuals with disabilities; meal preparation, cleaning, and medication administration experience are also valuable.

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
