Pay Range: CA$30.00–$41.00 per hour

Schedule: 14 days on, 14 days off (12-hour shifts)

About the Role and the Site

Flying Post Camp & Logistics provides site services at the Côté Gold Mine, one of Canada's larger gold mining operations. We're hiring an Equipment Operator to join our Site Services team, operating heavy equipment and providing skilled manual labour on site.

This is a hands-on operator role. You'll run equipment like graders, excavators, skid steers, and loaders, and pitch in on construction, maintenance, and general labour tasks alongside the rest of the crew. You'll report to the Field Supervisor and work closely with labourers, tradespeople, and other operators to keep the site running.

The work takes place mainly outdoors and in a remote camp setting, on 12-hour shifts. Camp accommodations include meals, Wi-Fi, and basic recreational facilities. Bus transportation to and from the site is provided from Sudbury and Timmins – you'll need reliable transportation of your own to get to the pick-up point.

What You'll Do

- Perform service work, renovations, recent construction, and ongoing maintenance tasks.
- Carry out snow removal and road maintenance activities.
- Operate heavy equipment – graders, excavators, skid steers,



dozers, and loaders – from the company's equipment fleet.
- Perform skilled manual labour in areas such as construction, renovations, and concrete work.
- Clean and prepare worksites for construction and maintenance activities.
- Operate hand and power tools to complete assigned projects.
- Fuel machinery and assist with site dewatering operations.
- Handle and transport materials as required.
- Assist carpenters, welders, painters, and other tradespeople on site.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- High school diploma or GED required.
- 2–3 years of relevant field experience preferred.
- Certification or ticket to operate a grader or other heavy equipment is an asset.
- Surface Miner Common Core certification, including equipment-specific modules, is an asset (required to obtain if hired).
- Experience and certifications operating machinery and power tools are assets.
- Valid G-Class driver's licence with a clean driving record; a driving abstract is required as a condition of hire.
- Knowledge of and compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Act regulations and site safety protocols.

Pay: $30.00-$41.00 per hour

Expected hours: 84.0 per week
