Quality & Design Stairs builds and installs custom wood stairs and railings. We’re a craftsmanship-focused shop and we’re looking for an individual with some stair building and installation experience to join our crew. Steady work, good people, and room to grow.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience building, assembling, and installing custom wood stairs. You take pride in precise, clean work, understand how stairs fit into the structure of a home or building, and get along well with the crew.

Responsibilities:

- Install and assemble custom wood stairs
- Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications to ensure precise construction
- Ensure all installations meet safety standards and building codes
- Measure, cut, and fit materials accurately on site
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Troubleshoot and resolve installation challenges as they arise

Requirements:





- 2+ years of experience in stair ensemble and stair installation (we’ll consider less for strong skills)
- Strong knowledge of stair construction and assembly techniques
- Ability to read technical drawings and layouts
- Experience with tools and equipment related to stair installation
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Compensation:

- $-$/hr based on experience
- Full-time, long-term work with room for growth
- Reimbursement for job-related supplies and travel
