Job Summary

Prepare and cook pizzas and related menu items in a restaurant kitchen, following recipes and food safety practices. This hands-on role combines food preparation, cooking, and meal preparation with timely support for food service and serving. Work closely with the kitchen team to keep orders moving and help guests enjoy fresh, consistently prepared meals.

Responsibilities

- Prepare ingredients and assemble pizzas and other menu items according to recipes and order details.
- Cook items to the required quality, monitor preparation times, and coordinate orders with the kitchen team.
- Follow safe food handling practices, maintain a clean and organized work area, and store ingredients appropriately.
- Support food service by communicating order updates and assisting with serving when needed.

Experience

Required: Practical food preparation, cooking, meal preparation, and food handling capabilities, with attention to food safety, cleanliness, and order accuracy. Preferred: Food service experience, including serving, and experience in a restaurant kitchen or the broader food industry; familiarity with kitchen teamwork and preparing meals to order is an advantage.

Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
