Overview
We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented Cake Decorator to prepare and decorate cakes and other baked goods for customer orders and in-store displays. The ideal candidate takes pride in quality craftsmanship, enjoys working with food, and provides friendly, attentive customer service. This role works in a fast-paced kitchen environment and follows established food safety and sanitation practices.

Responsibilities

- Decorate cakes and other baked goods using a range of techniques, finishes, and designs.
- Prepare fillings, frostings, toppings, and other ingredients according to recipes and customer requests.
- Assist with baking and general food preparation as needed.
- Package, label, and store finished products carefully to maintain quality and presentation.
- Help customers understand available options and confirm order details with accuracy.
- Keep workstations, tools, and equipment clean and organized.
- Follow food handling, food safety,



and sanitation procedures throughout each shift.
- Coordinate with kitchen and store team members to complete orders on time.

Requirements

- Cake decorating experience or demonstrated skill in decorating cakes and baked goods.
- Experience in baking, food preparation, or cooking preferred.
- Restaurant, kitchen, or other food industry experience is an asset.
- Knowledge of protected food handling and food safety practices.
- Strong attention to detail, creativity, and ability to follow recipes and order specifications.
- Customer service skills and a professional, courteous approach.
- Ability to package products carefully and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a busy food-service environment.

Pay: $17.95-$25.78 per hour
