Job Overview

The Punjabi Speaking Health Care Aide provides respectful, person-centred support to individuals, including seniors and people living with disabilities. Punjabi communication helps build trust, support daily routines, and keep individuals and their care teams informed.

Duties

- Assist with personal care, daily activities, mobility, and safe heavy lifting within the individual’s care plan.
- Prepare meals, complete light cleaning, and support a comfortable, tidy living environment.
- Provide medication administration and nursing-related support as directed by the care plan and applicable procedures.
- Offer compassionate senior, dementia, hospice, home, or assisted living care, adapting support to each person’s needs.

Requirements

Required: Practical caregiving and patient care capabilities,



explicit Punjabi communication, safe assistance with mobility and lifting, meal preparation, cleaning, and careful attention when supporting medication routines. Preferred: Experience in assisted living, nursing homes, senior care, hospice care, home care, dementia care, nursing, or working with individuals with disabilities.
