Residential Electrician & 3rd/4th Year Apprentices

Our client is looking for a Journeyperson Residential Electrician to join their growing team in the Edmonton area. This established electrical contractor provides a wide range of residential and commercial services, including recent construction, renovations, upgrades, and maintenance work. They are seeking a skilled professional who takes pride in quality workmanship, safety, and customer service. Responsibilities

- Interpret blueprints, schematics, drawings, and electrical code specifications to determine installation layouts.
- Install, inspect, replace, and repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, lighting fixtures, and related components.
- Complete terminations, splicing, and electrical connections in accordance with code and project specifications.
- Test electrical systems and components for continuity, voltage, current, and resistance.
- Assist with installation, maintenance, and repair of switchgear, transformers,



and switchboards.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and low-voltage control systems.
- Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Organize materials and maintain clean, orderly job sites before, during, and after project completion.

Qualifications

- Journeyperson Electrician certification in Alberta or currently registered as a Trade Apprentice.
- 2+ years of residential electrical experience.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Possession of required hand tools and a complete cordless tool kit, including drills and a reciprocating saw.
