Supply Educator provides adaptable classroom support, helping maintain a welcoming, engaging learning environment as needs arise. The role involves teaching and supporting children across learning activities, including math, while responding thoughtfully to different abilities and developmental needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide classroom coverage when regular staff members are absent.
- Supervise children and ensure their safety and well-being at all times.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and positive learning workplace.
- Work collaboratively with educators and other staff members.
- Follow all centre policies, procedures,
and applicable childcare regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Standard First Aid and CPR certification, as required for the position.
- A valid Vulnerable Sector Check, as required.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and classroom management skills.
- Patient, dependable, flexible, and passionate about working with children.
- Ability to work on-call and accept shifts based on the centre's staffing needs
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 3.0 – 5.0 per week
