Forge is hiring Snow Removal Crew Members for the 2026–2027 winter season to clear snow and ice from commercial trailer roofs at customer yards across the GTA.
Work is on-call based on weather forecasting snowfall — early mornings, nights, and weekends. You'll work in a crew of 3: Crew Lead (site check, safety sign-off, photos), Clearer (roof clearing), and Spotter (ground / drop zone).
What you'll do
- Clear snow/ice from trailer roofs safely, following Forge's Snow and Ice Clearing Handbook
- Wear PPE / fall protection correctly and respect the 6 m drop zone
- Take per-unit photos (unit number + wide view, before and after)
- Report hazards or uncleared units to the Crew Lead; stop work if conditions are unsafe
You need
- 18+, reliable transportation (sites are not transit-accessible), and a smartphone
- On-call availability and able to respond on short notice — crews can't start short-handed
- Physically fit: climb ladders, work outdoors in cold/wind, manual snow clearing
- Working at Heights is an asset (training provided); G licence is an asset
