Line Cooks + Chefs Wanted: Toronto’s Premier Christmas Pop-Up
Pay: Up to $18.00/hour + tip out
For 33 days each November and December, a downtown Toronto space is transformed into the most ambitious holiday pop-up in the city. Three themed rooms, a cocktail program people plan their December around, and a kitchen expected to match that standard every single night.
We are not a novelty bar with a menu attached. The food is held to the same level as everything else in the room, and we need cooks who take that seriously.
The Role:
- Execute your station to spec through high-volume service, maintaining consistency from the first cover to the last
- Complete daily prep and mise en place to the standards set by the kitchen lead, including par levels and quality checks
- Maintain plating accuracy and timing coordination with the pass so food reaches the floor hot, correct, and together
- Uphold food safety, sanitation, and station organization throughout service and at close
- Communicate clearly with the front of house on timing, modifications, and 86s
Who We’re Looking For:
- Proven line experience in a high-volume kitchen. This is a 33-day sprint, not a training ground.
- Composure under pressure and a clean, disciplined station
- Reliability. A short season means every shift counts.
- Someone who genuinely wants to work the holidays rather than avoid them
