Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will support pharmacists in providing exceptional patient care by assisting with medication management and ensuring the smooth operation of the pharmacy. The ideal candidate should have a background in pharmacy operations, a strong understanding of medical terminology, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to patients.

Responsibilities

- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns regarding medications.
- Maintain accurate records of medication administration and patient profiles.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Manage inventory levels by ordering, receiving, and stocking medications and supplies.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and pharmacy policies.




- Support the pharmacist in educating patients about their medications and potential side effects.
- Able to work on Saturdays.

Qualifications

- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Assistant in a community Pharmacy is an asset
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration practices.
- Kroll Software Previous experience is Preferred
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $16.50-$20.00 per hour
