Duties
- Provide professional skincare treatments including facials, exfoliation, and body waxing to meet individual guest needs.
- A specific focus in medical skincare will be an asset for any candidate.
- Deliver exceptional guest services by listening attentively, understanding preferences, and offering personalized recommendations.
- Maintain strict sanitation standards by thoroughly cleaning tools, equipment, and treatment areas after each service.
- Assist at the front desk by scheduling appointments, managing client check-ins/check-outs, and handling retail sales.
- Conduct product demonstrations and educate guests on skincare routines and retail products to enhance their experience.
- Upsell relevant services and retail items to maximize guest satisfaction and revenue opportunities while ensuring a positive experience.
- Gain and Maintain clientele through marketing and advertising, as well as ensuring each guest is treated with exceptional service.
Experience
- Proven experience as an Aesthetician or in a similar beauty or skincare role.
- Strong knowledge of skincare treatments, body waxing techniques, eyelash extensions, makeup application, and nail care.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests in a friendly, professional manner.
- Prior experience in retail sales or upselling beauty products is preferred.
- Familiarity with sanitation protocols and maintaining a clean work environment is essential.
- Ability to handle multiple appointments efficiently while providing attentive guest service.
- Hospitality or guest service background is a plus for creating a welcoming atmosphere.
- Valid CANS Certificate.
- Must be able to preform esthetics services in Nova Scotia.
