Tim McDowell Equipment Ltd, we've been in business since 2005 and we are looking for an eager Redseal mechanic willing to learn new skills and troubleshooting methods and bring your skills to the next level, we are willing to teach, train and compensate with excellent wages and benefits.

Some of the key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

- Check for proper performance and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
- Diagnose faults or malfunctions to determine the extent of repair required
- Adjust equipment, repair or replace defective parts, components or systems
- Test repaired equipment for proper performance and ensure that work meets regulatory specifications
- Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment
- Service specialty attachments or components and maintain, adjust and repair such items
- Ensure Tim McDowell Equipment Ltd. and Client’s standards for secure working conditions are observed
- Must have a strong understanding of Diesel engines and all components; heavy-duty truck steering, suspension, brake & transmission systems; fuel injection systems; hydraulic systems; electrical repairs; ability to use tools and equipment required to perform the work; ability to handle 100 lbs of weight

Required Experience and Certifications:

- Red Seal certification
- Willing to train for additional certifications
- 2+ years of relevant heavy equipment repair experience
- Completion of a three to five-year apprenticeship program
- Heavy Equipment Mechanics Diploma (or equivalent)

Schedule:

- 10 hour shifts
- 4 days a week

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50.00-$65.00 per hour
