Build assurance and accounting expertise as an on-site Co-op Accountant with MNP in Kingston, Ontario, beginning January 2027 for four months.

Working toward a commerce or business administration degree, you will support MNP’s Assurance & Accounting team. Develop skills in compilations, reviews, audits, bookkeeping, and tax while applying IFRS, GAAP, or ASPE knowledge. The position supports clients with tailored financial information and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop technical skills across assurance, accounting, bookkeeping, and tax
- Set up client files and manage multiple engagements simultaneously
- Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and reports
- Review financial entries, documents, discrepancies, and irregularities




- Prepare client summaries, presentations, and technical reports

Requirements:

- Commerce or business administration degree completed or in progress
- Accounting or finance major preferred
- CPA Skilled Education Program prerequisites completed or in progress
- Accounting-related office experience considered an asset
- Accounting and tax software experience considered an asset

Develop client-focused assurance and accounting capabilities through MNP’s four-month Kingston co-op term beginning January 2027.
