Commercial HVAC estimating expertise supports Neelands’ Burlington service department in this full-time, in-office position. Prepare accurate quotations and coordinate approved work through billing.

As an HVAC Estimator, you will report to the Service Manager, HVAC, serving repairs, replacements, retrofits, and small projects. The work involves reviewing technician recommendations, drawings, service reports, and customer requirements. You will develop cost estimates, obtain supplier pricing, and coordinate technicians, materials, equipment, and purchase orders. Robust organization, communication, customer service, and job costing abilities are important for managing multiple priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Review recommendations, drawings, reports, and requirements for quotations
- Develop labour, material, equipment, and subcontractor cost estimates
- Prepare scopes, inclusions,



exclusions, assumptions, and change quotations
- Coordinate technicians, materials, equipment, suppliers, and subcontractors
- Review completed work for estimate accuracy and invoicing readiness

Requirements:

- Three to five years of commercial HVAC experience preferred
- Ability to read drawings, specifications, and technical documents
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ERP experience is an asset
- Post-secondary education
- Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills
