Are you a recent graduate who is curious about marketing and communications and interested in discovering where your strengths can take you? CGI offers a distinctive early career opportunity to build experience across several areas of the profession while contributing to important work from day one.
The role begins with two core areas of responsibility. Approximately 50% of your time will be dedicated to executive support for the Vice President of Marketing and Communications for CGI's Canadian operations. The other 50% will focus on enterprise communications, working closely with the Director of Enterprise Communications. In this initial assignment, you will help coordinate the Vice President's activities and contribute to internal communications that inform and engage CGI Partners across Canada.
Over time, the role may also offer opportunities to take on assignments in other areas of the Marketing and Communications team, based on business needs and your interests and development goals. These could include marketing, external communications, social media, events, or business development communications. The goal is to give you practical exposure to different disciplines, help you build a broad set of skills and support you in making informed decisions about your career path.
This opportunity is well suited to someone who is organized, curious and comfortable taking initiative. You enjoy working with people, communicating clearly and managing details, and you are open to learning new things as priorities evolve. You bring sound judgment, care in your work and a genuine interest in how communications and marketing support a large, complex organization.
