We are currently hiring a Field Service Technician for one of our clients a manufacturer

in automation feed equipment for; stampers, fabricators, and manufacturers.

Our client is located in the Tomken and Britannia area of Mississauga.

Day shift: Monday through Thursday 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM, and Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Pay Rate: $28.00 per hour

Field Service Technician

This position requires the ability to provide field service support including installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of industrial equipment. The successful candidate will diagnose technical issues, complete service documentation, and deliver timely, professional customer support while traveling throughout North America and Mexico.

Key Responsibilities:

· Providing service and customer support during field visits or dispatches

· Managing all on-site installation, repair, maintenance and test tasks

· Diagnosing errors or technical problems and determining proper solutions

· Provide service and customer support during field visits

· Produce timely and detailed service reports

· Document processes

· Operate vehicle in a safely manner and use field automation systems according to the Company's standards

· Cooperate with technical teams and share information across the organization





· Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations/briefings Build positive relationships with customers

· Ability to travel throughout N.A. and Mexico.

Experience Required:

· 5+ years of previous experience reading, interpreting and following electrical power schematics and blueprints. Ability to read blueprints

· Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, panel controls and wiring, VFD drives, Servo drives, Servo Motors, PLC troubleshooting, Gear Motors, Hydraulics, Pneumatics.

· Proficient in the use of test meters and other diagnostic equipment

· Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

· Ability to us specific hand tools and power tools

· Pride in work and work environment

· Ability to work under tight deadlines

· Flexibility, being able to handle multiple tasks, attention to detail

· Team Player, positive attitude

· Proactive and motivated
