We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced 3rd or 4th Year Carpenter Apprentice to join our team. The successful candidate will have strong hands-on experience in both structural and finishing carpentry, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast paced construction environment.

Job Duties:

- Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Build, install, and dismantle concrete formwork (grade beams, pilasters, slabs, retaining walls, stoops, etc.)
- Perform rough and finish carpentry, including installation of doors, frames, windows, partitions, and millwork
- Measure, cut, and assemble lumber, plywood, steel studs, and other materials
- Assist with forming, placing, and stripping concrete alongside concrete crews
- Install hoarding, temporary partitions,



and site protection as required
- Ensure all work meets project specifications, quality standards, and building codes
- Safely operate and maintain hand and power tools
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure work environment
- Work collaboratively with foremen, superintendents, and other trades
- Demolition: various areas of the building, including bulkheads, walls, tiles, etc.
- General construction labor and material handling
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all site safety rules and procedures
- Follow instructions provided during orientations and on site

Requirements:

- CSTS 2020 certification (required)
- Registered 3rd or 4th year apprentice (required)
- Strong knowledge of carpentry methods, materials, and tools
- Experience with concrete formwork and commercial construction preferred
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents
- Solid math and measurement skills
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Commitment to workplace safety
- Physically capable of lifting and moving materials safely
- Previous construction experience is required
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team environment

Job Types: Temporary, Contract

Pay: $26.00-$27.50 per hour
