Job description:

- Overall maintenance and upgrades of our Inn in a historic building at 791 Pandora Avenue.
- Working with a junior maintenance person.
- Coordinating directly with the owner.
- Carrying out inspections and preventative maintenance, as well as improvements and minor renovations.
- Building or modifying our custom furniture and fixtures.
- All types of work that are required for an older building, such as plumbing, carpentry, painting, etc.
- Problem solving and learning new skills when applicable.
- Keeping outside trades to a minimum and overseeing them as needed.
- Sourcing and purchasing of equipment, parts, materials, and consumables as they pertain to building maintenance.
- Responding to maintenance requests for items needing assessment and/or repair.
- Some heavy lifting and physical work.
- Maintaining regular inspection of fire safety systems and coordinating annual inspections.
- On call after-hour building emergencies (these are extremely rare).

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $34.00-$42.00 per hour
