We're looking for a full-time Business Credit Advisor to join our team at the 100 Mile House branch. You'll work alongside the Manager, Business Credit, to look after about 119 business members and $53 million in borrowing and help local businesses grow and thrive.

This is a development opportunity, and we mean it. We care about what you can learn here as much as what you already know.

What you'll do

- Co-manage and grow a business credit portfolio, with a partner who has your back
- Analyze financials and assess risk
- Write credit proposals that fit our risk appetite and regulatory framework
- Monitor the portfolio and spot concerns early
- Build lasting relationships with business owners and develop new business

Who you are

You make sound decisions and you're positive with people. You understand financial products and services, and you enjoy helping members reach their goals.

You may already write business credit proposals and know our risk appetite and regulatory framework well. Or you may be new to it, curious, and quick to pick things up. Both are welcome here.

How we'll support you

Here's what you can count on:

- Hands-on training. Rigorous on-the-job training to build your skills.
- A designation, on us. Formal,



structured training toward your Accredited Business Lender (ABL) designation, funded by the credit union.
- A mentor down the hall. We're a smaller organization, so you'll have easy, consistent access to the Manager, Business Credit, for regular coaching and mentoring, plus support from other department resources.
- A plan built around you. We'll develop a structured training plan tailored to your experience and where you want to grow.

What you'll bring

- Preferably 2 to 5 years of progressive related experience
- A minimum of a secondary school diploma, plus coursework in business credit and lending
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Pay: $77,828.00-$97,285.00 per year
