We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. Responsibilities
- Perform professional massage therapy sessions tailored to individual client needs, including Thai or Swedish, deep tissue, and other modalities.
- Assess client conditions and discuss treatment goals to develop personalized therapy plans.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and relaxing environment for clients before, during, and after sessions.
- Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend appropriate follow-up treatments or self-care routines.
- Keep detailed records of treatments provided and client progress while maintaining confidentiality.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper sanitation practices.
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure comfort,
answer questions, and provide exceptional customer service.
- Stay updated on new massage techniques and industry best practices through ongoing professional development.
Experience
- Prior experience as a Registered Massage Therapist is preferred but not required; training will be provided for qualified candidates.
- Knowledge of medical terminology is beneficial for understanding client conditions and treatment plans.
- Skilled RMT that has a passion for helping people recover from injury and live well.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with diverse clients.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively explain treatment procedures and address client concerns.
