HVAC Fabrication Shop Foreman

About the role
We’re looking for an experienced Shop Foreman to run day-to-day fabrication operations. You’ll lead a crew producing sheet metal ductwork and fittings, keep production on schedule and maintain the highest quality, and be the link between the shop, project managers, and field crews.

Responsibilities

- Direct and schedule daily shop production based on project priorities and install dates
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, shop drawings, and spec sheets
- Oversee fabrication of ductwork, fittings, plenums, and custom sheet metal
- Operate and supervise CNC plasma, coil lines, brakes, rollers, spiral machines, and related equipment
- Maintain quality standards and inspect finished work before it ships
- Manage material inventory, ordering, and waste
- Train, mentor,



and evaluate shop staff.
- Enforce safety, housekeeping, and equipment maintenance

Qualifications

- 5+ years in HVAC or sheet metal fabrication,
- Solid blueprint and shop drawing reading skills
- Experience with duct fabrication software (e.g., Shop Data 360 or similar) is an asset
- Sheet metal journeyperson ticket.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Forklift experience and valid driver’s license

Compensation & benefits
$95,000 to $110,000 wage, along with full benefits package and RRSP

Pay: $95,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
