Overview

The Grill Cook prepares and cooks menu items in a restaurant kitchen, supporting smooth food service from preparation through serving. This hands-on role calls for care, consistency, and attention to food safety while helping the team deliver well-prepared meals.

Duties

- Prepare ingredients and complete meal preparation for grill orders, keeping the work area organized.
- Cook food to order, monitor cooking progress, and coordinate timing with kitchen colleagues.
- Handle food safely, maintain clean preparation and cooking areas, and follow food safety practices.
- Plate and serve completed orders accurately, communicating with the team to support timely service.

Requirements

Required: Practical cooking, food preparation, meal preparation, and food handling capabilities,



with attention to cleanliness and safe food practices. Clear communication and the ability to coordinate tasks help keep orders accurate and service moving. Preferred: Food service experience, including serving, and experience in a restaurant, kitchen, or the wider food industry are helpful strengths for adapting to a busy grill station. Your impact: Consistent preparation and timely cooking help colleagues serve guests well-prepared meals.

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
