Build Powell switchgear units in Edmonton by interpreting drawings, repairing discrepancies, and applying reliable mechanical assembly skills. The position is permanent.

Based at Electrical Division Edmonton, the Assembler works under the Manufacturing Supervisor in Switchgear Assembly. Responsibilities include assembling electrical units and other Powell products, identifying product-quality risks, and following manufacturing policies. Previous switchgear experience is an asset.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assemble switchgear units from drawings and instructions
- Construct mechanical components for electrical units
- Identify and repair product discrepancies
- Follow standard work instructions for quality
- Maintain clean, organized work areas

Requirements:

- High School Diploma required
- Zero to three years manufacturing experience
- Switchgear experience considered an asset
- Basic computer knowledge considered an asset
- Ability to follow manufacturing policies and ISO requirements
