Key Responsibilities

- Lead a team of software engineers in the design, development, testing, and deployment of complex software applications.
- Architect and implement robust, scalable, and maintainable codebases using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and deliverables.
- Drive best practices in software development, including code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
- Mentor and coach junior engineers, fostering their technical growth and career development.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring the stability and performance of software systems.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to improve development efficiency and product quality.




- Contribute to architectural discussions and decision-making processes.
- Ensure adherence to security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Participate actively in an agile development process, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Requirements

- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 7+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 3 years in a technical leadership or lead engineer role.
- Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C#, JavaScript) and associated frameworks.
- Strong experience with database technologies (SQL and/or NoSQL) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Demonstrated experience with agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with remote teams.
- Experience with microservices architecture, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and DevOps practices is highly desirable.
- A portfolio of successful software projects or contributions to open-source projects is a plus.
- Must have the legal right to work remotely and be able to manage work across different time zones.
