Our manufacturing client in Windsor-Essex, ON region is looking for the EHS Manager for their plant.

Shift - Day

Pay - $100-$105K

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) programs in compliance with applicable legislation and company policies.

- Conduct workplace risk assessments, inspections, and audits to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.

- Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and implement preventive measures.

- Deliver EHS training to employees and management to promote a protected working environment.

- Develop and maintain emergency response plans and workplace safety procedures.

- Monitor EHS performance, maintain records, and prepare reports for management.

- Manage WSIB claims and coordinate return-to-work programs in collaboration with HR, supervisors,



and healthcare professionals.

- Coordinate and chair the Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC).

- Support environmental compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

- 3 5 years of experience in a Health & Safety role.

- Bachelor's degree or technical diploma in a related field.

- Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and best practices.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and change management skills.

- Ability to handle confidential information and meet deadlines.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
