Who You Are

You already clean professionally. You have your own clients, your own supplies, and your own schedule. But some weeks have open days — and you'd rather fill them with paying work than sit idle.

You don't want a boss. You don't want to give up what you've built. You just want more bookings when you want them.

Who We Are

North Bay Maid is a North Bay-based cleaning service. We handle bookings, marketing, and client relationships for independent cleaners. You keep your own clients and your own schedule — we send you additional work to fill the gaps.

How It Works

We send you available jobs in your area

You accept the ones that fit your schedule, decline the ones that don't

No mandatory shifts, no minimum hours, no exclusivity

Your existing clients stay yours — North Bay Maid layers on top of what you're already doing

Pay

$20–$40/hr depending on the job — standard cleans, first-time cleans, move-in/outs, deep cleans

100% of tips — every tip goes straight to you, we never take a cut

Transparent pay — you know what you'll earn before every job

Bonuses for great work — reliability and outstanding reviews don't go unnoticed

What We Need

If you're already running your own cleaning business, you likely have most of this covered:

1+ years of professional residential cleaning experience

Reliable vehicle and valid driver's licence

Your own professional cleaning supplies and equipment

General liability insurance (minimum $2,000,000) — if you don't have a policy yet, we can point you to brokers who work with cleaning professionals

Must pass a criminal background check

Able to communicate effectively in English

Two professional references

Why Join Now

We're growing — and early cleaners on our roster get first pick of recurring clients as bookings come in. Many of our contractors build lasting relationships with the same clients week after week.

A company that has your back — if a client isn't a good fit, we'll reassign the job or let the client go. Your well-being comes first. Clear boundaries — we never ask you to do heavy lifting, work in unsafe conditions, or clean beyond what's reasonable.

How to Apply

Apply through Indeed and we'll be in touch to schedule a quick phone conversation. Have your references and proof of insurance ready.

We also have opportunities in commercial cleaning (clinics, offices, property management) for contractors interested in consistent recurring evening and weekend work — ask us about it.
