House of Dawn Steakhouse is a premium dining destination in Richmond, BC. We are currently looking for a friendly, organized, and energetic Host/Hostess to join our front-of-house team.

As the first point of contact for our restaurant, you will set the tone for our guests' dining experience. If you thrive in a fast-paced hospitality workplace and love providing great customer service, we want to meet you!

As a Host/Hostess, you’ll create a welcoming first impression and help guests enjoy a smooth, comfortable restaurant visit. You’ll coordinate arrivals and seating, communicate clearly with guests and colleagues, and support attentive hospitality throughout service.

Duties

- Welcome guests warmly, manage wait times, and guide parties to their tables.
- Handle reservations and guest inquiries with professional phone etiquette and clear communication.
- Coordinate seating and service flow with the team, sharing relevant guest needs and updates.




- Use POS or Micros POS tools as needed and assist with serving or other food service tasks.

Qualifications
Required:

- Previous experience in a restaurant or customer service role is highly preferred.
- Ability to stay calm, organized, and smiling during busy dinner rushes.
- Strong communication and multitasking skills.
- Fluency in English is required; conversational Mandarin or Cantonese is a strong asset for our Richmond location.
- Flexible availability, specifically for evening and weekend shifts.
