Are you a finance professional who enjoys working closely with operations and understanding how products are built from the ground up? Our client is seeking a Cost Analyst to join their team in a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility supporting one of the world's largest retailers.

This is a highly visible role within an international organization where you'll partner with finance, operations, and commercial teams to drive profitability, improve costing accuracy, and support key business decisions. The position offers a unique blend of product costing, ERP systems management, financial analysis, and business partnering.

What You'll Do
Own and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs), ensuring costing data is accurate and up to date across all products.
Manage product costing for both recent product development (NPD) and existing product lines.
Analyze manufacturing performance, including material yields, labour efficiency, overhead absorption, and standard costing variances.
Partner with plant leadership to provide insights and recommendations that improve operational and financial performance.
Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial and operational reporting.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting processes.
Develop and enhance reporting and dashboards using Power BI and Excel.
Ensure financial information within SAP S/4HANA and related systems is accurate and supports effective decision-making.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, process enhancements, and ad hoc projects across the business.
Present financial information to non-finance stakeholders and act as a key liaison between finance and operations.

What We're Looking For
3-5 years of hands-on Bill of Materials (BOM) and product costing experience.
Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA in a manufacturing environment.
Working knowledge of Power BI for reporting and data analysis.
Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, ERP systems, and cost accounting principles.
Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities.
Ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights.
Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across finance, commercial, and operational teams.
Experience in a manufacturing workplace required; cost-plus pricing experience is considered an asset.
Food manufacturing experience is preferred.
