We are seeking dedicated and skilled Class 1 Drivers to join our client out of Beechville, NS.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting various materials safely and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery while adhering to all safety regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to handle various types of freight.

Job Description

- Monday to Friday, Occasional Saturdays - Day shift
- Most runs are home every night, with the exception of Newfound Land runs
- Driver has the option to haul local or regional
- (For local runs it is recommended that the driver takes the load the night before and sleeps in sleeper berth (not mandatory) )
- $27/Hr for local work
- $0.51/mile for regional work plus drops and pickups
- Automatic, Dedicated truck




- Driver will be required to certify for port deliveries (Arranged and paid for by company)
- Most deliveries from port to warehouse and warehouse to customer
- General Freight, mostly container work
- Occasional flatbed and/or train work

Requirements

- A minimum of 3 years of verifiable Class 1 Experience
- Current clean abstract
- Valid Class 1 License
- Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test
- Must be able to provide a reference to verify at least 3 years of experience
