Responsibilities

- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, peeling, and assembling ingredients to support the cooking team
- Cook and serve meals according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly
- Handle food safely by following proper storage, handling, and hygiene procedures in compliance with food safety regulations
- Support serving staff by preparing plates and ensuring timely delivery of meals to customers or dining areas
- Monitor stock levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying supervisors when replenishment is needed




- Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for everyone

Requirements

- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
- Knowledge of food handling practices and safety standards within the food industry
- Ability to perform meal preparation tasks efficiently while maintaining quality standards
- Strong understanding of kitchen operations, including cooking techniques and food presentation
