Northeastern Protection Service Inc. is seeking an experienced locksmith to join our Electronic Security Division. This position is ideal for a skilled professional who can independently handle commercial locksmith service calls, installations, repairs and door hardware projects from day one.

What you’ll do

· Perform commercial locksmith service calls, troubleshooting, repairs and installations independently.

· Rekey and service locks; create, maintain and troubleshoot master key systems.

· Install and repair commercial locks, cylinders, door closers, panic bars and exit devices.

· Install and service electric strikes, magnetic locks and other electronic locking hardware.

· Collaborate with our electronic security technicians on access control and integrated security projects.

· Assess customer needs, recommend practical solutions and complete accurate service records.

What we’re looking for

· At least 3 years of professional locksmith experience, preferably with commercial customers.

· Proven ability to work independently and manage service calls with minimal supervision.

· Strong knowledge of rekeying, key cutting,



master key systems and commercial door hardware.

· Sound troubleshooting skills, skilled communication and customer-service abilities.

· Valid Nova Scotia driver’s licence and acceptable driving record; ability to complete a background screening.

Assets: Experience with electronic access control, electric strikes, magnetic locks, automatic door operators, and formal locksmith training or certification.

Pay: $28.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32.0 – 45.0 per week
