Peace Park Dental is looking for a motivated, reliable, and patient-focused Level II Dental Assistant (CDA II) to join our friendly, community-focused dental team in Fonthill!

Position Details

- Position: Level II Dental Assistant
- Location: Peace Park Dental, Fonthill, Ontario
- Pay: $19.00–$30.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
- Schedule:
- Monday–Wednesday: 8:30 AM–4:00 PM
- Thursday: 9:30 AM–5:00 PM
- Days: Monday to Thursday, with Fridays and weekends off

Responsibilities

- Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures
- Perform intraoral scans for digital impressions and restorative workflows
- Support in-house dental laboratory workflows, including designing and milling crowns and designing and 3D printing night guards (training available!)
- Prepare, send, receive, and track dental laboratory cases and shipments
- Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, instruments, and equipment
- Follow infection prevention and control (IPAC) protocols and office procedures
- Take dental radiographs as authorized and within the scope of practice
- Support efficient patient flow and communicate effectively with the clinical team




- Provide friendly, professional, and compassionate patient care
- Assist with sterilization, operatory turnover, and clinical organization
- Maintain accurate clinical records and follow established office protocols

Qualifications

- Level II Dental Assistant diploma or recognized equivalent qualifications
- Knowledge of infection prevention and control standards
- Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
- A dependable, team-oriented attitude and willingness to learn
- Previous dental assisting experience is an asset, but current graduates are encouraged to apply
