Job Summary

The Customer service and bookkeeper supports customers while maintaining accurate financial records and routine bookkeeping. This role combines responsive service with careful handling of accounts, transactions, and financial information, helping colleagues make informed decisions and customers receive explicit, timely assistance.

Responsibilities

- Respond to customer questions professionally, clarify needs, and follow through on requests or refer them to the appropriate colleague.
- Maintain bookkeeping records, process accounts payable and accounts receivable, and support payroll activities.
- Reconcile accounts and bank statements, review transactions, and assist with account analysis and budgeting.
- Use accounting software, including QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero, to organize records and prepare accurate updates.

Requirements

Required: Practical bookkeeping and accounting capabilities, accuracy with financial records, account and bank reconciliation skills, and clear, patient customer communication are essential for handling transactions and resolving inquiries. Familiarity with accounting software and basic computer skills support efficient daily work.

Preferred: Experience with QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero, along with payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, account analysis, or budgeting, is advantageous. Customer service experience and the ability to organize competing tasks can help you provide dependable support to customers and colleagues.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
