Alopex Couriers is looking for motivated and reliable Casual Casual Couriers to join our fast-paced delivery operations in Cranbrook, BC. In this role, you’ll report to the Operations Manager & help ensure packages are picked up, transported, and delivered safely and on time, while providing excellent service to our customers.

We’re looking for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and ready to step in wherever help is needed. You’ll be expected to handle packages carefully, plan efficient routes, and maintain a safe and organized vehicle. Strong communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure are essential.

This role also involves coordinating with dispatch, supporting supervisors, and ensuring deliveries run smoothly. A valid driver’s license, knowledge of local routes, and a safety-focused mindset are key.

Responsibilities:

- Safely operate delivery vehicles and follow all traffic laws and company driving policies
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Plan and organize delivery routes for efficiency and timeliness
- Load and unload vans strategically to ensure smooth and prompt deliveries
- Deliver parcels,



collect COD payments, and obtain customer signatures as required
- Provide exceptional customer service, prioritizing White Glove delivery standards
- Communicate effectively with central dispatch using mobile communications and equipment
- Work within a team, following the buddy system to ensure safety and efficiency
- Assist drivers and team members with van loading and package handling
- Lift and move items safely, including the use of dollies and other equipment
- Follow protected driving practices and maintain awareness of surroundings
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and efficiently
- Maintain high standards of health and safety, reporting any incidents to management
- Participate in health and safety meetings when required and support incident investigations
- Use technical equipment and technology to support delivery operations

Job Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent (required)




- 1+ years of experience as a Courier (preferred)
- Valid Canadian Class 5 Driver’s License or higher
- Clean driver’s abstract
- Satisfactory criminal record check
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
- Ability to safely lift and carry heavy objects (50+ lbs)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in using scanners and mobile delivery technology
- Available 1 - 5 days per week depending on parcel volumes

Job Types: Casual, Seasonal

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
