Job Title: Apprentice Lather / Drywall Taper (Level 1, 2)
Job Overview:
We are a high-volume commercial drywall contractor seeking a motivated and reliable Apprentice Lather (Interior Systems Mechanic) to join our finishing team. This role focuses on high-capacity commercial taping and finishing. You will work alongside experienced Journeypersons to master commercial-grade tools and maintain peak production speeds.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare commercial surfaces for painting by taping, mudding, and sanding to Level 4 and Level 5 finishes.
- Operate and maintain automatic taping tools (bazookas, flat boxes, and pumps).
- Install various corner beads, expansion joints, and fire-rated trims.
- Work on ladders, scaffolding, and stilts to finish high ceilings and bulkheads.




- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to support high-speed workflow.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with commercial drywall or general construction is preferred but not required
- Physically capable of handling the demands of high-volume commercial production.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and reliable transportation.

Mandatory Safety Certifications (or willingness to obtain):

- WHMIS 2015.
- Fall Protection.
- Aerial Work Platform (Scissor Lift) certification.

Pay: $18.00-$30.00 per hour
