Overview

As a Counter Teller, you’ll support customers with everyday transactions and currency services in a welcoming, accurate, and productive manner. You’ll handle cash, assist with related requests, and identify relevant products or services that may meet customer needs.

Responsibilities

- Process counter transactions accurately, following established procedures.
- Count, balance, and manage cash; maintain clear transaction records and promptly address discrepancies.
- Provide attentive customer service, answer questions, and explain available services in clear, helpful language.
- Recognize opportunities to recommend relevant offerings and use appropriate upselling and sales techniques without compromising customer trust.

Requirements

Required: Practical math skills, accuracy, and care when handling cash are essential for processing transactions, balancing funds, and maintaining reliable records. Clear communication and customer service skills help you understand requests and explain financial services effectively. Preferred: Experience with cashiering, cash management, sales, or upselling is advantageous, along with confidence assisting customers and identifying suitable service options.

Pay: $18.25 per hour

Expected hours: 27.0 – 36.0 per week
