At Symphony Nine, we are expanding our premier Vaughan showroom from a trusted destination for specialty flooring, custom stairs, and millwork into a full-scale 360-Degree Residential Renovation &* General Contracting* (GC) firm. We combine master craftsmanship with high-end material selections and a modern, tech-enabled operational engine to deliver high-margin, high-touch home transformations across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and York Region.

We are looking for a high-energy, consultative Showroom Sales & Design-Build Consultant who thrives on relationship-building, spatial design, and closing high-ticket residential renovation contracts.

The Strategic Advantage of This Role

We do NOT expect you to spend 20 hours a week stuck behind a screen drawing CAD files or doing manual blueprint takeoffs.

We back our local sales team with a dedicated Technical CAD & Estimating Support Team. They handle the heavy architectural drafting, 2D/3D visual renders, and preliminary line-item takeoffs. Your time and energy are protected so you can focus strictly on what you do best: engaging clients, conducting spatial design discovery, building relationships, and closing $30K to $250K+ renovation packages.

Position Overview

As our primary Showroom Sales & Design-Build Consultant, you will anchor our Concord/Vaughan flagship showroom at 201 Millway Ave. You will greet walk-in homeowners, custom builders, and trade clients, guide them through finish selections, and lead in-home site discovery visits.

You are the consultative "Pitchman & Relationship Lead"—translating client vision into project scope, leveraging rapid mobile LiDAR tools on site, and presenting polished proposals generated by our back-office drafting team to close high-margin contracts.

Key Responsibilities

Showroom Leadership & Intake: Welcome clients to our 201 Millway Ave showroom,



guiding finish selections across hardwood grades, custom stair profiles, architectural millwork, and luxury interior finishes.

Consultative Upselling: Elevate single-trade inquiries (e.g., flooring or stair refreshes) into full-scope 360-degree home renovation contracts through expert spatial guidance and consultative discovery.

Client Relationship Management: Maintain active CRM, follow up on pending proposals, manage change-order presentations, and nurture ongoing client trust through project closeout.

What We’re Looking For (Qualifications)

Industry & Sales Experience: 3+ years of successful B2C luxury retail sales, interior design sales, high-end furniture, or residential renovation sales in the GTA market.

Design & Construction Literacy: Ability to read basic architectural floor plans, interpret homeowner needs, and understand residential construction basics (e.g., distinguishing partition walls from structural layouts under OBC Part 9 guidelines).

Communication & Closing Skills: Polished, persuasive, and empathetic sales presence with a proven track record of converting showroom walk-ins into high-ticket signed contracts.

Education: Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Architectural Technology, Business, or Construction Management preferred (or equivalent hands-on experience in high-end design-build sales).
