Job duties:

· Maintain client trust funds at multiple banks, including processing deposits, cheques investments, and transfers

· Verify that trust statements (TS's) received from banks match bank and firm records

· Assign file numbers for Real Estate Projects

· Closing of large Real Estate projects – reconcile incoming funds, cheques and wires

· Prepare banking reconciliations – several accounts and bank accounts

· Post various financial transactions (BC Online, LTSA, postage, time, invoices to clients, transfers,



and write offs)

· Post monthly interest on investment accounts

· Process outgoing wire transfers

· Manage the safekeeping log

· Photocopy, scan, file, fax, and shred documents, preparing labels

· Provide general support to the department and team

Requirements:

· 3–5 years of accounting experience, including law firm trust accounting experience

· Good knowledge of accounting procedures and completion of a college diploma in business, accounting, or a related field

· Knowledge of TMST accounting procedures established by The Law Society of BC

· Experience working with CMS

· This role requires in-office attendance and is not eligible for remote work

Pay: $40.66 per hour
