ColdStar Solutions is looking for a 5 Ton Driver to join our team!

The Role

· 5 Ton Drivers make pick up and deliveries in the Duncan to Comox area

· This is a full-time role working Tuesday – Saturday with a 5 AM start

The Responsibilities

· General P&D; activities such as: safe driving, hand bombing, related paperwork, customer service

· Communicate effectively and respectfully with dispatchers and customers

· Report all incidents and safety hazards in a timely manner to the supervisor or dispatchers

Who You Are

· A confident and safe 5 Ton Driver with at least 1 year of professional driving experience

· A reliable, versatile, and respectful team-player that takes pride in their work

What You Bring

· Minimum 1 year of experience driving a 5 Ton truck

· A clean drivers abstract





· Ability to drive manual transmission

· Knowledge of the central Vancouver Island area

· Physically able to lift 50lbs

· Flexibility for scheduling

· Experience using a pallet jack

· Knowledge of reefer settings and food temperature hauling requirements would be excellent

Pay: From $25.57 per hour
