Business Analyst will be responsible to lead the business analysis, requirements gathering, process documentation, and testing for the project(s), participate in data migration, as well as complete applicable project deliverables as outlined under the client's Project Management Lifecycle (PMLC). This assignment will involve working closely with the Client Department as well as different branches and teams.

Assignment Details

Working under the direction of the Project Manager(s) and/or Delivery Manager(s), the responsibilities of the Senior Business Analyst will include, but not be limited to the following.

Client Requirements development

o Take a leadership role to validate business processes/requirements for the department

o Plan, facilitate, conduct and document business processes/requirements validation workshops, meetings and interviews

o Help validate the solution design from a business perspective

System Integration

o Supporting client to configure the new system according to the client's needs, including security settings for users

o Developing any ad hoc or customized reporting required by the client.

Data migration

o Guiding and assisting the client with data cleansing and conversion

o Supporting data migration activities by identifying gaps with current data structure,

o Capture data migration rules, mappings and validation requirements

Testing

o Support testing activities, including writing test cases to validate requirements, execution (initial testing), and identify bugs (and prioritizing),

o Organizing and conducting the functional testing of the system, working with theteam to resolve any problems that arise.

Change Management/Training

o Work closely with business representatives,



aiding development and implementation of business process change activities

o Aiding development of training materials for any required training based on the client's business processes, use of the system, and user categories; and support training activities

Creation and finalization of standard project artifacts including, but not limited to:

o Workflows

o Use Cases

o Requirements documents or user stories

o Fit-gap analysis

o Business process models

o User guides for new/enhanced system functionality

Other duties

o Complete any other client-related project tasks that will help ensure project success;

o Assist with other project-related deliverables or tasks as required by the Project Manager/Delivery Manager.

EXPERIENCE LEVELS SHOULD BE:

Level 2: 7+ years of relevant experience in this role. RESPONSIBILITIES COULD INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

Develop and document statements of requirements for considered alternatives.

Perform business analyses of functional requirements to identify information, procedures, and decision flows.

Evaluate existing procedures and methods, identify and document items such as database content, structure, and application subsystems.

Develop data dictionary.

Define and document interfaces of manual to automated operations within application subsystems, to external systems, and between new and existing systems.

Identify candidate business processes for re-design, prototype potential solutions, provide trade-off information and suggest a recommended course of action. Identify the modifications to the automated processes.

Establish acceptance test criteria with Client.

Support and use the selected departmental methodologies.
