Strength Within Psychotherapy is expanding our in-person child and youth services in Orangeville and is seeking a regulated mental health professional with demonstrated experience providing psychotherapy to children and/or adolescents.

Experience with neurodivergent children and youth is a strong asset.

Availability

This role is primarily in person in Orangeville, with virtual psychotherapy available as an additional option.

Applicants must be able to provide consistent weekly in-person availability and must offer at least:

- one evening block per week, or
- one consistent weekend block

After-school, evening, and weekend availability is particularly important for our child and youth referrals.

Qualifications

Applicants must be registered or eligible to practice psychotherapy in Ontario through an appropriate regulatory college.

- Occupational Therapists

RP (Qualifying) clinicians must maintain appropriate external clinical supervision.

Responsibilities

- Provide psychotherapy within your scope of competence
- Maintain timely clinical documentation
- Complete appropriate risk assessment and safety planning when required




- Follow applicable regulatory and privacy standards
- Participate in appropriate supervision and consultation
- Communicate promptly regarding significant clinical, privacy, safety, or client concerns
- Maintain qualified liability insurance
- Work collaboratively within Strength Within’s referral, intake, documentation, and administrative systems

Compensation

Independent contractor compensation is highly competitive and commensurate with registration status, clinical experience, and scope of practice.

About Strength Within Psychotherapy

Strength Within Psychotherapy provides psychotherapy to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families, virtually across Ontario and in-person in Orangeville.

Pay: $100.00-$120.00 per hour
