About us
Modersy Interior Ltd. is a Calgary manufacturer of custom cabinetry and architectural millwork for commercial and residential projects. We are a team of 35 and we are growing.

The role
You will run our edgebander as part of the production line, applying clean, accurate edge banding to panels so they move on to assembly without rework.

Minimum 2 years of edgebander experience required
Applications with less than 2 years of hands-on edgebanding experience will be removed immediately. Please do not apply if you do not meet this requirement.

What you will do

- Set up and run the edgebander for different materials, edge thicknesses and finishes
- Adjust glue, trimming, scraping and buffing units to get a tight, clean edge
- Check every part against the cut list and drawings, and catch errors early
- Load, unload, stack and label finished parts for the next station
- Keep the machine clean, change glue and edge rolls, and do daily checks
- Report problems quickly and follow shop safety rules, including protective equipment





What we are looking for

- 2 or more years running an edgebander in a cabinet or millwork shop
- Ability to read cut lists and basic shop drawings and use a tape measure accurately
- Comfortable lifting sheet goods with help and working on your feet
- Reliable, on time, and careful with quality
- Experience with PVC, melamine and wood veneer edge banding is a plus
- Ability to communicate in English for safety and production instructions
