Overview

The Construction Estimator develops transparent, well-supported pricing for construction projects by reviewing project information, assessing costs, and coordinating details with colleagues. This role combines construction estimating with practical project management and communication to help teams prepare accurate, competitive proposals.

Duties

- Review plans, specifications, and project documents to identify scope, quantities, materials, labor, and potential cost considerations.
- Prepare and update estimates, pricing breakdowns, and bid documentation using tools such as Bluebeam and HeavyBid.
- Coordinate with project teams and relevant partners to clarify requirements, validate assumptions, and keep estimates aligned with project needs.
- Support proposal discussions and negotiation by explaining pricing, documenting changes,



and tracking estimate updates.

Qualifications

Required: Practical construction estimating, pricing, document review, and basic project management capabilities, with clear communication and attention to detail to develop, explain, and maintain accurate estimates. Preferred: Construction experience and familiarity with Bluebeam or HeavyBid are valuable, as are negotiation skills and the ability to collaborate across project teams.

Pay: $51,900.00-$115,000.00 per year
