Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Supply Early Childhood Educator/Assisant to join our energetic team. In this role, you will support the delivery of high-quality early childhood education by providing nurturing care, engaging activities, and educational support to young children.

Minimum Weekly Commitment

- Minimum 8 hours per week
- This is approximately one 8-hour shift per week
- Additional hours may be available based on school needs and your availability
- Flexibility to provide coverage for staff absences is an asset

Qualifications & Requirements

- ECE or ECA qualification
- Experience working with young children in a licensed childcare setting is preferred
- Current First Aid/CPR
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A warm, patient, and caring approach when working with children




- Ability to follow childcare licensing requirements and centre policies

Responsibilities

- Provide classroom coverage when regular staff members are absent
- Support educators with daily classroom routines and activities
- Supervise and engage children in a safe, nurturing environment
- Assist with meals, transitions, outdoor play, and classroom activities
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment
- Work collaboratively with the teaching team
