Job Summary

We are recruiting for a Bilingual Credit & Collections professional for a full-time, permanent opportunity in Markham, Ontario. This role is ideal for an experienced English and French collections specialist who is confident managing complex, high-risk customer accounts and resolving sensitive account matters with professionalism, accuracy, and sound judgment.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage complex delinquent accounts, including bankruptcies, repossessions, fraud investigations, deceased estates, insurance recoveries, escalations, and charge-offs.
- Handle inbound and outbound customer calls while negotiating payment arrangements and resolving sensitive account issues.
- Assess account risk, recommend appropriate recovery strategies,



and maintain accurate account documentation.
- Coordinate with legal teams, bailiffs, dealerships, auction companies, and external partners to support recoveries and repossessions.
- Conduct follow-ups, skip tracing, account reviews, and collections activity in a high-volume environment.
- Support team training, mentorship, process improvements, and best practices within the collections function.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary range: $70,00 to $80,00 annually.
- Employment type: Full-time, permanent.
- Location: Markham, Ontario.
- Work arrangement: Hybrid, 3 days in office.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:15 AM to 4:30 PM.
