Shipper/Receiver

The shipper/receiver will work in a fast-paced environment where you will be working with the parts department and to aid in shipping and receiving parts for the branch. Reporting to the Parts Manager, this role offers challenges as you’ll have a chance to work with the latest technology, giving you an opportunity to showcase your skills and experience. If you are an independent problem-solver with a passion for the industry, we want you to be a valuable member of the GreatWest Kenworth team.

- Determine shipment method and arrange shipping details
- Prepare bills of lading, customs forms, invoices and other documents manually or by computer
- Assemble containers and crate records manually or in the system
- Oversee the loading and unloading of goods from trucks or other conveyances
- Inspect incoming goods and invoices for accuracy and damage
- Maintain internal records keeping systems




- Operates handling equipment and ensures safety regulations are followed.
- Operating Stand-Up forklift
- Maintain personal and company equipment.
- Communicate with teams (service department, heavy equipment technicians, other parts team members, parts manager, parts director) when managing their job duties and solving problems.
- Excellent communication skills in verbal and written form
- High School Diploma
- Intermediate MS Office and Computer Skills
- The ability to withstand work-related deadlines and pressures.
- Consistent Punctual Attendance

- Time Management
- Must be able to sit, kneel, lift, walk, and carry for extended periods.

Experience:
