Overview

The Millwork Designer develops clear, coordinated drawings and models to support millwork planning, fabrication, and construction. This role translates project information into practical design documents and works with project colleagues to resolve details and keep deliverables aligned.

Duties

- Prepare and revise millwork layouts, shop drawings, details, and schematics using CAD and drafting tools.
- Build and coordinate 2D and 3D design models, checking dimensions, materials, interfaces, and drawing consistency.
- Review project documents, incorporate feedback, and coordinate design updates with relevant colleagues.
- Organize drawing files and communicate design changes to support accurate fabrication and installation.

Skills

Required: Practical CAD, drafting, and schematic skills, with the ability to interpret project information, check design details, and communicate revisions clearly. Preferred: Experience with Autodesk Inventor, CNC Programming, SketchUp, AutoCAD, or SolidWorks;. Millwork assembly experience would be an asset.

Pay: $23.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
