Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Pipe Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate must be willing to join 787 or be existing member will have a strong mechanical background and experience in commercial and industrial process piping, steam, hydronics and fuel piping. This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
Duties:
- Install, maintain, and repair piping systems
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for associated components
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC equipment, boilers, pumps, heat exchangers, etc
- Interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of mechanical and piping systems
- Test systems for proper functionality
- Collaborate with other technicians and contractors on installation projects
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Pipe Fitter
- G3/G2/G1 gas technician prefered
- LP, OBT, Milwright considered an assest
- Mechanical knowledge and understanding of piping systems and controls
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Proficiency in welding, piping, and boiler operations
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
