Perth Precision Machining & Manufacturing is seeking a Saw Operator for our day shift 7am - 3.30pm. The ideal candidate should have hands on experience with industrial machinery. Accuracy in reading a tape measure is critical.
Responsibilities:
- Accurate measurement of raw steel
- Operate an overhead crane
- Read blueprints/drawings to confirm cutting requirements
- Operate programmable CNC saw machines
- Keep a well organized work area
- Check steel stock and request reordering when low
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in operating a CNC saw machine (manual/programmable) is an asset
- Familiarity with plant tools and equipment
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Accurately read tape measure and use of a caliper is critical
- Valid crane operators certificate an asset
- Valid forklift licence an asset
